Swami Rama Humanitarian Award was presented to Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre, Leh-Ladakh. The activities of MIMC include providing underprivileged children safe shelter and quality education, healthcare for the sick and needy, literacy and empowerment programs for women, and other socially-disadvantaged groups and a caring environment for the aged and destitute. The award was received by Venerable Bhikkhu Sanghasena, Founder/President MIMC, consisting of Rs. 5 lakhs, a citation letter and a gold medal.

Swami Rama Humanitarian Award was presented to Vinoba Seva Ashram, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh for its commendable job of almost 40 years. The award was well received by Sh. Ramesh Bhayiya, Founder of the Vinoba Sewa Ashram, consisting of Rs. 5 lakhs, a citation letter and a gold medal.

Swami Sachidanand Bharti, pioneer of “Paani Raakho Aandolan” was bestowed with the Swami Rama Humanitarian Award 2020 consisting of a gold medal, citation and a cash award of rupees five lakhs in recognition of his excellent efforts in social development.

Posthumously conferred on Swami Satyamitrananda Giri Ji Maharaj, founder of Bharat Mata Mandir Haridwar, for the significant contribution made in the field of social upliftment of the weaker sections of the society. Received by his disciple Junapithadheeshwar Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Awadheshanand Giri.

Shri Sudhir Bhai Goyal, Founder of Sewadham Ashram established in Ujjain in 1986, was awarded Rs. 5 lakhs, a gold medal and a citation. Sewadham Ashram provides services enriched with love, care, intimacy, and compassion, for the homeless, destitute and abandoned human beings

Dr. Pankaj Shah, Managing Trustee of Sewa Rural, a voluntary development organisation involved in health and development activities in rural tribal area of Bharuch and Narmada districts of South Gujarat, was awarded Rs. 5 lakhs, a gold medal and a citation.

Dr. Vibha Gupta, Director of the Rural Women Technology Center, a wing of Magan Sangrahalaya, Wardha (Maharastra) was bestowed with the Swami Rama Humanitarian Award 2016 consisting of a gold medal, citation and a cash award of rupees five lakhs in recognition of her efforts in developing appropriate technologies for the emancipation of rural populations.

Shri Vinayak Lohani, West Bengal’s Parivar Ashram’s Founder Director, for his work towards the total care and overall development of children who are highly vulnerable to exploitation, victimization and trafficking, including orphans, street children, abandoned children, and extremely impoverished children from tribal areas.

Sanmati Bal Niketan, Pune, Maharaastra Sindhu Tai Sapkal, who is fondly called the Mother of Orphans, was awarded the prestigious Swami Rama Humanitarian Award by the Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust, which entailed a cash award of Rs. 5 lakh, citation, and gold medal.

Divya Prem Sewa Mission Niyas, Haridwar Divya Prem Sewa Mission Niya s, Haridwar, for providing commendable services for the past several years to leprosy patients. Shri. Ashish Gautam the President of the Mission received the award.

Society for Education, Action, and Research in Community Health (SEARCH), Maharashthra Swami Rama Humanitarian Award was given to the Society for Education, Action, and Research in Community Health (SEARCH) in recognition of its innovative village health care and research programs in 150 villages of Gadchiroli, one of the most underdeveloped districts of Maharashtra. Dr. Abhay Bang, Founder/Director of SEARCH, was present to receive the award.

Thutak Nunpuitu Team (TNT), Mizoram This nonprofit, voluntary organization works for the downtrodden and marginalized members of the populations of Mizoram and neighboring states by running centers like de-addiction center, mental asylum and orphanage. Mr. Alex, Secretary of the organization received the award.

Vikas Bharati, Bishunpur, Jharkand The Swami Rama Humanitarian Award 2008 was given to Vikas Bharati, Bishunpur, Jharkand. Mr. Ashok Bhagat, Director of this organization received the award which consisted of cash, gold medal, and citation. This nonprofit, voluntary organization works for the underprivileged and down trodden rural areas and tribals of Jharkand.

All India Pingalwara Charitable Society of Amritsar, Punjab This society is known for its charitable work for the betterment of the destitute and mentally challenged. The award was received by Bibi Dr. Inderjeet Kaur.

Vivekananda Youth Movement, Kerala This organization received the award for its inspiration work in developing the tribal areas of Kerala, South India. Dr. R. Bala Subrahmanian, President of Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement, was present to accept the award.
