The programs offered here are aimed at overall development of the students that not only in still confidence, knowledge and a value system but also help enhance their potential to make students employable and industry-ready, Industry-academia partnership platforms like conclaves, roundtables, and seminars are a regular feature in the institution.

Our industry-driven certification programs are duly incorporated in the curriculum such as industry-aligned modules in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, delivered in association with Om Logistics Ltd.; and aligned to the NSE Certified program in Capital Markets making HSMS Dehradun’s best BBA and MBA college.

Apart from Credit-Based courses providing the required core skills, HSMS also offers non-credit courses such as Communicative English, Disaster Management, Environmental Studies, etc.

Like most rural parts of the country, Uttarakhand also faces the threat of migration. Students are also given exposure to rural management which too could, in future times, help provide a solution to the problem of isolation of villages.

Teaching & Training

Our Management School practices student-centric pedagogy enabling the learners to imbibe curriculum innovatively and effectively helping us differentiate from other BBA and MBA colleges in Dehradun.

The teaching and training methodology includes multi-disciplinary programs and projects, lectures, guest lectures by industry experts, case studies, games, simulations, group activities, role-play, scenario analysis, group discussions, quizzes, etc. Besides one-on-one discussions, we make use of multimedia and digital platforms.

The school also provides exposure by way of industry visits, conferences, field trips, corporate talks, seminars/summits, internships, development programs, workshops, and exchange programs.

Faculty

The highly competent faculty of HSMS carries with them a blend of both industry and academic skills. A great majority possess doctoral degrees in their relevant disciplines with the rest pursuing their doctoral education. Some of the faculty members also possess case teaching certifications for bringing the ‘field’ to the classroom.

A dedicated Placement Cell has excellent links with the industry that provides ‘Summer Internship’ and 100% placement support to students. Our students have secured placements with INR Ten lakhs per annum as the highest package, so far.
