The mission of the Radiation Oncology department (including Cancer Research Institute) is to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art, quality radiation treatment to cancer patients integrating education, clinical research, and radiation physics. The department focuses on both, conventional and cutting-edge techniques.

The department is the most comprehensive facility of its kind in the state of Uttarakhand. Board-certified radiation oncologists are skilled in a wide range of standard and emerging treatments which are continuously refined to deliver the highest-quality patient care possible.
